Walter C. Bronson

Chairman, Plumsted MUA

Mr. Bronson is a Civil Engineer specializing in Land Development work in New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. Mr. Bronson is a licensed Professional Engineer in both states, a Certified Municipal Engineer in NJ, and a LEED Accredited Professional by the US Green Building Council. Mr. Bronson graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 1985.

During the course of his professional career, Mr. Bronson has managed the civil/site design and permitting for a variety of municipal infrastructure projects, new secondary schools as well as land development projects throughout New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. Two significant projects managed by Mr Bronson were the 1.75 Million square foot $400MM former Merrill Lynch Southfields Campus in Hopewell, NJ and the former Pfizer $440MM R&D facility expansion in Morris Plains, NJ.

Mr. Bronson has been a Township resident since 2004. In addition to the MUA, he also serves on the Township’s Land Use Board.


Edward J. Weirsky, Jr.

Vice Chairman, Plumsted MUA

Mr. Weirsky is Operations Manager for a major petroleum product pipeline and is responsible for overseeing all the company’s operations, maintenance and regulatory compliance in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Delaware. During his 23-year tenure with the company, he has held operational and environmental management positions, overseeing multimillion dollar capital and expense budgets, managing regional environmental regulatory compliance programs including waste, wastewater, NPDES and air programs, and supervising emergency response and remediation.

A resident of Plumsted for the last 15 years, Ed is an active community participant, serving on the Township’s Environmental Commission and as auditor for New Egypt Elks Lodge #2457. He has coached teams for the New Egypt Soccer Club and the Plumsted Youth Basketball League and has been active in other organizations to support his daughters' extracurricular activities in New Egypt High School's Drama Club, Band Parent Association and Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore.

Mr. Weirsky earned his BA in economics from Rutgers University.  


Robert W. Minter

Treasurer, Plumsted MUA

A resident of Plumsted Township for 16 years, Robert Minter is employed as a Construction Manager for an engineering consulting firm. He has over 33 years of experience in the pipeline industry including: project/construction/facility management, operations, maintenance, installation, safety, repair, spill control/prevention and security.

He served in the United States Navy and is currently a member of the American Legion and the Elks.

Robert and his wife Mary Ann have two married sons and three grandchildren. Their sons are employed in the fields of law enforcement and education.



Ronald Dancer

Member, Plumsted MUA

N.J. State Assemblyman Ron Dancer has represented Plumsted Township in the State Legislature's General Assembly from 2002 to the present.

Mr. Dancer served as the Mayor of Plumsted Township for 22 years from 1990 through 2011 and continues to volunteer as the Township's Business Administrator. In February of 2011, Mayor Dancer was inducted into the "Elected Officials' Hall of Fame" by N.J. State League of Municipalities.

Since 1985, Mr. Dancer has been a member of the Ocean County Board of Social Services and  currently serves as Chairman. Mr. Dancer is actively involved in a number of other civic affiliations which include  the Ocean County Natural Lands Trust Fund Advisory Committee, Ocean County Senior Citizens Advisory Council, Ocean County Human Services Advisory Council; Plumsted Township Planning Board since 1978, and the Plumsted Township Municipal Utilities Authority.

Mr. Dancer is a former Commissioner of the N.J. Horse Racing Commission and Trustee of the N.J. Department of Agriculture's Sire Stakes Board. He is employed with the Ocean County Adjuster's Office. He and his wife Brenda have two children and three grandchildren. Mr. Dancer is a life long resident of Plumsted Township and is a former horseman and the son of the late National Hall of Fame Harness Horse Racing Driver Stanley Dancer.

Nancy Lawrence

Alternate Member, Plumsted MUA #2

Ms. Lawrence is a Compliance Officer for the NJDEP’s Green Acres Program. In her professional role, she reviews plans and permits to verify whether lands encumbered by Green Acre will be impacted by the proposed projects, works with local governments on creating, updating and correcting their recreation and open space inventories as well as oversees the Green Acres Inspection Program. Prior to joining the DEP, Nancy worked in a bioassay lab testing wastewater discharge for compliance with the DEP’s New Jersey Pollution Discharge Elimination System and dredged material for the Army Corp of Engineers to evaluate the environmental acceptability of dredged material proposed for ocean disposal. She was later employed by an environmental firm securing wetland permits through NJDEP’s Division of Land Use Regulation.

A resident of New Egypt since 2002, Nancy and her husband Carl have two kids. Outside of work Nancy is involved in her home parish as well as her children’s school and school parish.

Ms. Lawrence graduated from Stockton University with a BS in Environmental Studies.
